Desks remain the second most popular item to replace in the office

For the third consecutive year in the industry, office furniture desks have remained the second most sold item. Unit sales for the United Kingdom of office desks which include workstations and home office products have exceeded 500,000 units. In an odd comparison office chairs sold almost four times the unit volume, causing one to wonder why there would be more chairs sold per desk. The reason for this very simple, apparently chairs wear out much more frequently than do office desks. The average business replaces one chair per employee per annum. Businesses using heavy duty office chairs find that replacement of office chairs occurs far less frequently.
